Florida Education Association is currently conducting a parent survey and poll to get input on how schools should reopen and how distance learning is working. Parents (non-school employees) of public school students are invited to respond.

SCHOOLS ARE CLOSED FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR, NOW WHAT?
Earlier this month Governor Edwards announced that schools would remain closed through the end of the school year. The Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE) has provided some guidelines for local school districts, but for the most part administrators, teachers, and school employees have had to make it work in an impossible situation.

Alabama schools to reopen with teachers but no students
While Alabama’s 722,000 students won’t return to k-12 classrooms this spring, some teachers will be returning to school as early as April 6.
As officials form their plans for distance learning, due to the state department of education by Friday, teachers are learning whether they're required to return to school buildings to do their work.
